Morning All,

and If I could type with a stuffed up nose I would...Ha ;) I hope you all had a Wonderful Christmas, we did. Looks like I finally caught the crud though and it is bad. Although I did force myself to go shoot last night. I went downtown and shot a couple of the theaters after dark. My inspiration for this is Thomas Carrigen, he was a photographer from 1922 til he passed. He shot images of downtown Casper as it evolved, did portrait work, and also commercial work. One of is more famous images is the Rex Theater which is gone now. I chose the Rialto and the America to shoot. You can see some of his images at www.wyomingtalesandtrails.com . This site has some great images and info of cities all around Wyoming. I'm going to shoot some more of these as time allows, not to dulicate what he did but more to record what is there now and process them with more of a modern day flare.

Alrighty then, gotta run, I'll leave you with the Rialto.

Mornin' All,

Well it's the Monday before Christmas and I haven't bought a thing. Imagine that, a guy waiting til the last minute, ha! I think today will be the day though. I'm hoping everyone is worn out from shopping over the weekend and I can sneak in and out with out getting run over by crazy shoppers.

Well we are wrapping up the year at the studio, pretty light schedule for the rest of the year. I'm ok with it, I'm dying to have some time to shoot for me. Yesterday I shot the most beautiful Jewelry Armoir' you will ever see, this guy took 3 years to build it. I'll get some pics posted as soon as I get them edited.

The day after Christmas, I'm gonna start on a small project of shooting downtown....at night....well in the early morning hours anyways. I think you'll like the results.

Well I hope you are all prepared for the Holidays. If your out and about come on down to the Gallery, my Dad will be in all week I'm sure, Sondra and I will be in and out. I'll leave ya with one from Tim and Miranda, what great father daughter team, they were perfect in front of the camera.

Enjoy and Happy Holidays.

Morning all,

Yep, it's Friday again and I know I missed all week. I think it was a case of the lazies on my part. We've been really busy and I've been staying up way too late. Hopefully I'm over it. We had a full run of family shoots this last 10 days or so, so I'm in mass edit mode.

Well Christmas is around the corner and we haven't done a bit of shopping, so I think that is gonna have to get done here pretty quick. I hope you all have been more time managed than us and already braved the mall and are ready to go.

If the weather will straighten itself out a little, like no w i n d, I'm going to start a small project on shooting downtown at night, actually it will probably be early in the morning so there are fewer peeps and cars to contend with. I think the lights down by the theaters and dining areas will be impressive.

Alrighty, then you all have a great weekend and I will be here on Monday. I'm gonna leave you with a real cutie from this last week.

TGIF!

Man the Wind is rippin' out there today! As I sit here lookin' out the window it is nothing but a white out, winter is quickly getting old.

Well the weekend is almost upon us, I'm sure most of you are getting ready for Christmas Party's and such. We have a couple to attend over the next couple weeks and I am looking forward to the social aspect of those gatherings.

Well I almost have Charles and Shante's images done, should have them knocked out today. Then on to the next set. We will be shooting a father and daughter on Sunday, also a hand built jewelery armoire' if the weather is good enough for the gentleman to bring it to the studio.

Alrighty then, hope you all have a good weekend and stay warm, I'll leave you with one of Shante's images, and chat with you on Monday.

Mornin' all,

Ok enough of these frigid temps, I say. It would have been a great morning to be out shooting, but If I didn't freeze, my gear might have..Wow, that wind has a bite.

Well got the Marker's images done and now on to the next...As much as I love shooting, editing and watching the image become a piece of art is really where it is...there is great satisfaction in sitting back a really studying the final product and knowing I made it.

I'm starting on Shante and Charles today, hopefully I will finish them. They were a fun couple to shoot, and the images are just gonna be fantastic.

Don't forget the craft fair at the Sunrise Shopping Center this Saturday, I've got lots of wonderful Wyoming Landscapes in all sizes to choose from, they make great Christmas Gifts. So if your out, come on by the Gallery. I'm sure Sondra will put them on a special 1 Day Sale...so don't miss out.

Alrighty then I'm out, I'll leave you with a wonderful black and white portrait from the weekend. Stay Warm!

G-Morning all...

Wow is this weather somethin' else...I wanted some snow alright, but theses temperatures...not so much!
What a crazy weekend, 3 family shoots on Sunday, but all went well. So I'm in edit mode for the next week, 2 sets I have to get done PDQ, 'cause they are ordering Christmas cards and that is sneaking up on us quickly. I do a lot of editing at night 'cause there are no distractions, however when I get in the "zone" I stay up way too late and therefore have a hard time getting motivated in the morning.

Well gotta run Mason to school and get the day rollin'. I'll leave ya with one from the weekend.

TGIF!,

Morning All

Yea yea, I know I missed a couple days, just some personal brain damage. Well I've got a weekend full of portrait work to do. We had to re-arrange the schedule so now Sunday is booked full, but that's fine, bring it on! I had an interesting call on Wednesday, some folks inquiring about some portraits in Conwell Park. The reason for the park is all the Christmas lights, the interesting part, at night. I told them I could probably make it work. So I went down there last night after dark to give it a go, before I call them back. The results I think would be fab. It was only 9 above zero last night, so I couldn't get Sondra to model for me...imagine that...I did some scenic shots instead. The one I'm going to leave you with today would make a fabulous Christmas card. If they decide they want to try it I'll certainly post one here.

Alrighty then I'm out, you all have a great weekend.

Mornin' All

As usual running way late and no material prepared, I was up late workin' on this project for Dr. Brattis. Some Cityscape panoramics. I'll try to get one posted tomorrow. I did however get the Black and White version of Devils Tower done so let me know what you think of it. Some images just work in Black and White and 'm pleased with this one.

Well the Gallery show was all over the front page of the Glenrock Bird. If your not a suscriber I think you can read part of it by clicking the link. Again I can't thank Amanda enough for making it a hit.

Well we will see what today brings, The weather is supposed to be pretty nice, but I think some snow is coming. I really want some, as I said before I have a couple spots scouted that will make some wonderful winter landscapes and after going to Devil's Tower, the creative juices are realy flowing. I might have to revisit some older works today to keep the inspriation rollin.

Alrighty then, I'm out and will chat with you tomorrow.
